Welcome to

Inspire Fitness Durham

I have created Inspire Fitness to do exactly that. I want to inspire people to be fit and healthy for life.
If you are looking to lose weight, get fit, or gain strength I can help you achieve your goals.
If you are pregnant or have just had a baby I can also help you achieve your goals.

And the best bit is you can do that in as little as 30 minutes a day. So

  • IF you have a desire to get fit
  • IF you have a positive frame of mind
  • IF you have a willingness to commit even when the going gets tough or you are tired

Then Inspire Fitness is here to help you to finally do what you have been telling yourself you need to do for ages, and that is to get fit. I will inspire you to do this in the sessions I provide.

Having two young children I understand that our lives are busy nowadays and the most convenient way to convince ourselves that we can’t do any exercise is because we just don’t have time.

However, exercise is like food, water and sleep, it’s essential to keep your body and mind healthy and working well. No matter how busy your life is you will find the time to eat and sleep but because exercise requires more effort it is pushed to one side.

Exercise is beneficial to everyone, no matter how young or old and whether you are a beginner or a fitness fanatic. It helps keep our hearts healthy and bones strong, which is even more important the older you become.

In order to start your fitness journey and stay committed, you need to change your ideas about fitness. It is not something that you should do because you know it will help you be healthier. You need to think of it as something that will benefit you as you will grow stronger in both body and mind which in turn will see you lead a more active and independent lifestyle which will also benefit you in your later years.

Your fitness journey with me will not be a promise of a quick fix. We have to be realistic and remember that you’ll not have the figure you have always dreamed of overnight. It will take time, effort and commitment from you. There will be no judgement just inspiration, encouragement, motivation and a friendly training environment. 

IF you put that in then I will provide the motivation, fun and tools to get you to where you want to be. 

I offer 1:1 sessions, 1:2 sessions and group sessions (up to 10 people per session), and online sessions. I can fit into your daily life, from early morning to evenings and weekends. Workouts can range in time from 30 minutes to longer depending on the time you are able to set aside. 

If you are a group of friends or work colleagues that want to exercise together then I can accommodate you for this. 

I am a Belmont resident and cover the Belmont, Carrville, Gilesgate, Pittington Sherburn and other Durham areas.
